I am Hanieh, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Literature and a Master’s degree in Theatre Directing. Truly the jack-of-all-trades and the driving force of my team. When I first decided to launch a cinema website, many told me it was impossible. They said powerful competitors dominated the film industry and I could never keep up. It reached a point where people mocked and laughed at me—but my mind was made up. With no one to help me and no money to hire a professional web designer, I rolled up my sleeves and decided to handle everything for From Cinema from scratch, from idea to execution. I went through very tough days, putting in 4 months of round-the-clock effort to achieve my goal with zero budget; the website even haunted my dreams! I spent 15 hours a day, day in and day out, working on the site just to transform it from a toddler into a professional, standard platform. I built this website with pure love, and I truly hope you can feel that love in every single corner of From Cinema.
My name is Narges Ghanavati. With a BA in Dramatic Literature and an MA in Ancient Culture and Languages, I am a university lecturer specializing in theatre, cinema, folklore, mythology, and ancient textual analysis. My passion for teaching extends far beyond the classroom, as I also hold independent courses outside the university. By now, you can probably guess the unique style and depth of the films we will explore together here. I hope you find the articles and insights on this site both captivating and enlightening.
Born in Tehran in the middle of autumn 1985, I am a psychologist and a Ph.D. graduate in psychotherapy. Here, I mostly write about things I love and believe will resonate with others.
